About

Natural Products Inc. was founded by a natural products researcher, Dr. Pawan K. Agrawal for scientists and academicians engaged in research relevant to natural product sciences, with the goal of making publishing more accessible around the globe. Our story started in 2006 with a scientific journal that grew over the years and our portfolio was transferred to SAGE Publishing in 2019, with whom we remained associated until 2023.

Over the last two decades, our vision has driven us to play a significant role for the community of natural products researchers and global academics. By listening to our research community, and to serve rapidly growing natural products areas which lie at the core of Natural Products Inc. expertise, we returned to our roots and have developed and launched a platform for a new portfolio of journals and books, broadly devoted to the promotion of natural products in all branches related to their chemistry, biology, food science, and pharmaceutical uses, and all derived multidisciplinary academic endeavors into natural products, including their significance for plants and other organisms.

The Natural Products Research Academy (NPRA) was founded in 2024 by a group of researchers led by Dr. Pawan K. Agrawal, and the Academy's first president, Professor Gerald Blunden. Considering the objective of supporting science and science education relevant to natural products, we created a NPRA Board of scientists and academicians representing various continents and subcontinents of the world.

Academic Events (https://www.npracademy.com/news) is a platform to promote academic events initiated by Natural Products Research Academy (NPRA), as well as by its members, with an aim to provide a conducive environment for academic exchange, promote discussion of hot topics, and encourage cooperation between participants.

We can also help conference organizers to publish conference articles and abstracts on our platform while ensuring compliance with the highest quality.

We also anticipate that our site related to the book series, Progress in Natural Products: Chemistry, Pharmacology and Nutrition (PNPCPN), will become active within this year for submission of articles and, in the meantime, we look forward to suggestions/views from our readers, as well as from the scientific community.
