Journals and Books

We would like to mention that before the launch of our journals and books, we organized on-line discussions with several experts in the scientific community of natural products researchers to learn their views and suggestions and came to know about the urgent need to form a platform for researchers to publish their valuable research in an effective and efficient way in specialized scientific journals and a book series relevant to various aspects of natural product sciences. This discussion was of great importance and marked an important milestone and led to the introduction of our first journal, Natural Products: Chemistry, Pharmacology and Nutrition (NPCPN) and a book series, Progress in Natural Products: Chemistry, Pharmacology and Nutrition (PNPCPN). These publications not only emphasize the talent of worldwide researchers but also enable the sharing of information in a secure forum, as well as saving time through online publication. Thus, NPRA supports an authoritative setting for the publication of high quality internationally relevant research with respect to the field of natural products and its goal is to provide a platform for researchers and academicians all over the world to promote, share, and discuss various issues and developments in natural products related areas.

It is worthwhile to note that membership is not a requirement for submission to our journals and books as we welcome direct submissions from researchers without an NPRA affiliation. While we retain strong ties with the NPRA, whose members oversee the journal’s rigorous peer review process, we do not differentiate processing of manuscripts for non-members to fulfill our aim “Inspiring and Supporting Natural Products Researchers” and to encourage and stimulate application and utilization of natural products.
