The “NPRA Blunden Impact Award” will be awarded from time to time to encourage and honor a natural products researcher in two overarching ways — first, through commitment to publishing outstanding articles in NPRA journals; and second by advancing and positioning NPRA objectives by engagement in collaborative research that has the potential to make a deep and lasting impact in their field(s).

NPRA members are encouraged to self-nominate or nominate another NPRA member, NPRA journal author or external group affiliated with the academy. The applicant should share insights into the contributions/accomplishments leading to their Impact with the natural products community. The reading and/or citation score can also be used to support applications. A link to the nominee’s professional website may be included as supporting evidence. In the year of the award and in the subsequent year, the recipients may publish their articles in NPRA journals without any APC.
